Lab Overview

Anbotek Radio Frequency Lab consists of more than 10 senior wireless communication technology experts and engineers, including China SRRC, EU RED, US FCC ID, Canadian IC, Japan TELEC, Korea KC, Malaysia SIRIM, Australia RCM, etc. more than 40 National and regional wireless product certification.

Laboratory Capabilities Introduction

Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Test System

The imported EN300328 V2.1.1 complete test system can test the performance parameters of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (802.11a/ac/b/g/n).

Wireless Communication Product Test System

• It can complete the RF certification test of GSM / GPRS / EGPRS / WCDMA / HSPA / LTE mobile phone transmitters and receivers recognized by international authoritative organizations, and its capability is in line with 3GPP TS 51.010-1 and TS 34.121 international standards;

• Support GSM quad-band: 850/900/1800/1900MHz;

• Support WCDMA FDD Band I, II, V, VIII bands;

• Support all frequency bands of LTE (TDD/FDD);

EU Cybersecurity Act

Testing Overview
With the widespread adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, the exponential growth of wireless equipment has revealed critical risks in network information security. Threats including cyberattacks, data breaches, and device hijacking have driven the European Union to enhance regulations on wireless devices, aiming to safeguard user privacy, network infrastructure, and financial transaction security. RED-DA (Supplementary Directive (EU) 2022/30)

Published in January 2022 as an amendment to the RED Directive (2014/53/EU), this directive specifies mandatory requirements for radio equipment in cybersecurity, privacy protection, and anti-fraud measures. It will become legally enforceable from 1 August 2025.

EN 18031-1
Wireless devices with direct or indirect internet connectivity (e.g., smart refrigerators, smart air conditioners, WiFi routers).

EN 18031-2
Wireless devices processing user-sensitive data (e.g., baby monitors, children’s smartwatches, health-tracking wristbands).

EN 18031-3
Internet-based payment, fund transfer, or transaction devices (e.g., networked POS terminals, payment-enabled EV chargers, connected vending machines).

Important Notes
● From 1 August 2025, the EN 18031 standards will become mandatory. All radio equipment intended for the EU market must comply with these standards to obtain CE marking certification, which will drive manufacturers to enhance product cybersecurity performance.

● Due to the extended testing cycle and complex documentation requirements, manufacturers must reserve sufficient testing lead time based on projected shipment schedules. Delays in initiating certification may result in postponed product launches or delivery disruptions.

Is Notified Body (NB) Certification Mandatory? Which Products Require NB Certification?
● The following three types of wireless devices require NB certification:

  1. Devices allowing users to operate without setting or using any password.
  2. Childcare devices and toy radio equipment lacking guaranteed access control for parents or guardians.
  3. Financial transaction devices where single-factor authentication is insufficient. These must implement multi-layered security mechanisms, including:Digital signatures,Secure communication protocols,Access control systems,Other supplementary safeguards.

SAR Test System

• Adopting DASY5 of Swiss SPEAG, it meets the global SAR test specifications and standards, and is the fastest and most accurate scanning equipment on the market;

• The system test can be used for testing of multiple types of products such as GSM, WCDMA, CDMA, LTE, WLAN (main standards IEEE 1528, EN50360, EN50566, RSS 102 issue5);

• The test frequency range covers 30MHz-6GHz;
